i've been able to enjoy more family time here in st. george..

Maggie is sooo cute :) Its funny because now Sam is this age and they actually are quite similar.

Recent Sledding Adventure

We celebrated MLK day sledding down a massive hill by the mall. I had to babysit, but the girls and I joined Maggie and Sam. So much fun! And we got a workout each time we went back up the hill :)

Sam and I were partners :)

Maggie, Sam, Jordyn and Jensen. You can't even see the top and look how small they are!

It wasn't too crowded, but you did have to be careful. You'd hear the occasional "WATCH OUT" from other sledders.

A call out to all you cold weather haters-- the weather isn't that bad, this is just one of its perks :)

Birthdays- Isaac turns 14

Isaac celebrated his birthday with a broken wrist, but neighbor Spencer celebrated the same. way. Both broke their good hands.. oops :)

Here is Isaac's speech for DVMS Student Body VP- He won!

I wish we recorded the beginning.. It featured me and a few friends. A couple of my guy friends claimed to be "the real Isaac Faldmo" and a couple of my girl friends were his fan club. My part was to ask where my wallet was.. (he's always keeping me in line and knows what's going on) and at the beginning you catch right after he told a wandering Abby what class she's in :) We all also had "I4VP" tshirts.

Birthdays- Sam turns 5 (Nov. 11)

Sam and friends enjoyed a jungle- themed party to celebrate Sam turning five!
Mom made them costumes and their faces were painted.
The living room was decorated, complete with a "Pin the Trunk on the Elephant" game.
They ate a CUTE cake made my Danielle :)

winter update

YAY! An update. Good news- Mom got a camera (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) and we got a new charger so we can use our laptop again and have a place for pictures, but until we unwrap that (tomorrow).. I put some on my school laptop for this post :)

It's Christmas Eve and the Midwest is seeing a major winter storm, but that hasn't stopped us!

Our awesome neighbors, the Hemmingsen's, came over and we played in the snow last night. It was PERFECT weather. It was a pretty snowfall and the wind wasn't blowing and to be honest, I had lots of layers but I took off my coat. It was an awesome beginning to Christmas break.


We wanted to make something in the snow, but not a snowman, so Elizabeth and I made a present :)



Tonight the weather messed with our plans a bit, the Wilkinson's couldn't make it like tradition would call for, but we were thrilled with the Hansen's braved the strom. Here we are getting ready for the Nativity performance. This was taken with Mom's new camera.. It looks like chaos because it is :)
